Why We Built This Site
Mississippi gives the public broad access to court records. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. In Jasper County that is rarely a single counter. The Circuit Clerk keeps felony, major civil, and Circuit Court files, plus marriage licenses. The Chancery Clerk holds probate, estate, divorce, guardianship, and land records. Justice Court handles small claims, misdemeanors, and many traffic citations. The Sheriff runs the jail roster, and the Mississippi Department of Public Safety holds driver records. Because the county runs both a Paulding and a Bay Springs courthouse, the same record type can sit in either district. We pull the contact details, search portals, and request steps for each of these offices into one place.
